S. Mark Tyler
Position title: President, OEM Fabricators, Inc.; Chair, Governor's Council on Workforce Investment

S. Mark Tyler is founder and president of OEM Fabricators, Inc., a contract manufacturer in Western Wisconsin. OEM’s Team earned Wisconsin’s Manufacturer of the Year Award in 2006, and repeated in 2012 earning the Award for Workforce Development, the first company to receive this honor.
Mr. Tyler began his career with a Degree from St. Paul TVI in Minnesota. In 2011, he received his MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Mr. Tyler serves on a number of boards and councils including:
- Wisconsin Technical College System Board
- University of Wisconsin Board of Regents
- Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce
- Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment (chair)
- The Governor’s Early Childhood Advisory Council
- The St Croix Valley Success by 6, Business Committee
- The Wisconsin Technology Council
In recognition of his efforts to connect education and employers, Mr. Tyler has received recognition from Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), Wisconsin Association for School District Administrators (WASDA), Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), Wisconsin Association for Career & Technical Education (WACTE), Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association (WTCDBA), and Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley (FRCSCV). He speaks frequently on issues involving early childhood, workforce development, and their connections with education.
His wife Jackie is a pony breeder and together they operate Emerald Glenn Farm which breeds Shetland Ponies and Shetland Sheep. The farm also produces grain and forage crops.
